SALCEDO PARK
Just like Banchetto, Salcedo Park is a one stop shop.. Here, aside from foods, you can also see other stuff being sold, from plants to handicrafts even fresh produce and meats.
Salcedo Park market opens only on Saturdays at the heart of Salcedo Village. It's the brainchild of the residents living within the area. They set it up for the residents not to go far and buy their needs. Everything they need has been provided at the market. Imagine, doing your weekly shopping, not inside the mall, but just right outside your home, enjoying the fresh breeze and the warmth of the sun. They also provide shopping carts.
Foods are quite pricey but very delicious indeed. Some of the dishes are home-cooked and can only be found and eaten on fine dine resto. You can find rarely seen produce and meats, pricey but of good quality.
Tents are set up to provide shade over tables where you can eat and people-watch. When I say people-watch, these (people) aren't just the ordinary ones. From politicians to celebrities to the who's who in the society can be seen roaming around the market.
Aside from the market, you can also enjoy the park, letting your kids play on the grounds or simply stroll around.
