On Leave

I will be on leave.

I filed a one-week leave. I will be visiting the Queen City of the South (Cebu) and Bohol from the 1st til the 3rd of March. Finally, after 5 months of waiting, matutuloy na! Me and my friends availed of Cebu Pacific's seat sale promo for 10 peso. Yes, you heard it right! 10 pesos lang, that was part of the October 10, 2010 (10-10-10) fever. So, even if it takes 5 months of waiting, we didn't have any second thoughts of booking ourselves. Can't imagine that a round trip fare for 5 people would only cost us less than 1k. Sarap di ba? 

5 months of waiting did give us enough time to save money, for the fare, lodging, food and syempre, pasalubong! We had doubts at first for the fear that it might not push through. Much as possible, we see to it that there will be no activities that would coincide with our trip. But we got dismayed when one of friends won't make it, for she needs to attend her sister's wedding. It felt sad but that occasion is one thing she shouldn't miss. 

We already have our itinerary as to where and what are we gonna do once we landed in Cebu and Bohol. We've searched the net, even solicited opinions from family and friends. It helped a lot. But big thanks goes to Apple's aunt, who lives in Bohol, for she already made a tour reservation for us at a cheaper price. 

As I write this, and only a couple of days left before the trip, the surprise and excitement hasn't sinked in yet. My bags aren't packed yet. I'm still thinking of the things to bring and clothes to wear. Still undecided. Bahala na si Batman.. :)

I wish and I hope that this trip will be a fruitful and enjoyable one. I don't know yet what to expect but fun, fun, fun.. And great bonding moments with my friends.
